Phiale with portrait of Iranian noble, crescent on the head

The phiale with a portrait of an Iranian noble, found in burial 2 of Armaziskhevi, is a specimen of Sassanian art; the cameo of the pectoral with a representation of a dog is of Roman make; the bracelet intaglio with the image of Athena is a local make. 2nd - 3rd Centuries A.D.
