18th - 17th Centuries B.C. Goblet Gold, lapis lazuli, cornelian, jet, amber, height 7.5 sm., diameter 7.5 sm. Lower Kartli, Trialeti Kurgan. Made on a lathe from a single piece of gold. Double-walled body is decorated with volute-shaped applications and inlaid with cornelian, and lapis lazuli. The bottom is inlaid with amber and jet. Without known parallels.
