Swastika engraved on a clay vessel. One of the most important prehistoric technical innovations, the production of wheelmade clay pottery, is associated with the inhabitants of the Great Hungarian Plain. The technique was introduced in the Scythian period and originated from Greek pottery workshops around the Black Sea.
