The legacy of the unifying commonality

Around the middle of the 10th century, the new great prince appointed one of his power centres in Szekesfehervar. In the area, several new cemeteries were opened at the time that could be used by the newly organized military escort and their servants. Among the weaponry of the ones mentioned first, the double-edged sword already appeared, but the continued use of the sabre, the battle-axe and archer equipment is noted as well. They buried their dead according to pagan ceremonies, since horse burial can be observed in their graves. Their women wore silver gilt mounted dresses. The poor jewellery of the graves of the commonality in the era is marked by S-ended lockrings, earrings, pearls, rings and bracelets.
