Bull on top of a cone-like ritual item. During the Scythian period, the population of the Great Hungarian Plain adopted a so-called zoomorphic style in their art, which originated from the nomadic peoples inhabiting the grassy lowlands of Eurasia. The characteristic feature of this artistic style was the representation of animals on objects used both in daily life and in rituals.
