Double-headed animal gold bracelets

Gold bracelets or torcs.

These represent wild and imagined species, from lions and lion-griffins to rams, goats, winged goats, bulls and ducks. Some of the original turquoise inlays survive. The original appearance of some are uncertain as they were heavily distorted when they were found. They may have been worn as bracelets or around the neck.

5th - 4th Century B.C.
