Two bronze statuettes of the sacred Egyptian bull Apis. Greek, about 500 B.C. From Athens & from the Nile Delta. The inscriptions on the bulls record their dedication by worshippers. The statuettes suggest the existence of trading and cultural links between Greece and Egypt at this period.
