Cross in the middle of zigzag around a circular disc looks like rays of the sun

Sun-discs

Sun-discs are usually found in pairs. They are decorated with geometric designs sometimes incorporating a cross motif. They were probably sewn to garments using the central perforations. They are closely related to the so-called racquet-headed pins of central European origin.
