A solar disc with two layers of rays engraved on a marble stone. Aside from the disc, there are also animals engraved below and spears on the side. Assur, Modern Qala't Sharqat is on the west bank of Tigris, to the north of the place where Lesser Zab joins it. Excavations, conducted by Germans under the leadership of W. Andrea in 1913 - 1914.
