Cremation during late bronze age

Archaeological Museum of Alicante, Spain (MARQ)

Cremation
During the Late Bronze Age, the deceased were burned, depositing their remains in urns buried in the ground.
Next to the new-build settlements of the Late Bronze Age (1300-800 B.C.) cremation necropolises have been located. In urns buried in the ground and covered by ceramic vessels as lids and stones, the ashes and remains were deposited.
