Moon-god aglibol with solar disc on his head

Comes from a sanctuary in Palmyrene (found not far from Bir Wereb, in Wadi Miyah), Syria In the center of the relief, we identify the supreme god Beelshamen, on his right the moon-god Aglibôl and on his left the sun-god Malakbel. Graffiti was added later between these characters.

Provient d'un sanctuaire de Palmyrène (trouvé non loin de Bir Wereb, dans le Wadi Miyah), Syrie Au centre du relief, on identifie le dieu suprême Beelshamên, à sa droite le dieu-lune Aglibôl et à sa gauche le dieu-soleil Malakbêl. Des graffiti ont été rajoutés ultérieurement entre ces personnages.
