The restoration of this ancient torso as Diana with a bow judiciously takes into account the trace of a harness and a quiver. The bronze restorations of small proportions could date from the 16th century. The piece in the collection of Cardinal Scipio Borghese (1587-1623) was exhibited in the 18th century in the Egyptian room of the Villa del Pincio.
