Text, Circular mirror with two angels

Louvre Museum

Mirror. Around 460 B.C. Prov. Hermione (Peloponnese) (?) Northeastern Peloponnese Style. The figures of Eros were originally to converge. There is no clue to define the exact location of the elements that decorated the rim of the disc. The association of a mirror and a vase is exceptional. It is however ensured by the presence of small rings between the legs of the hares. Acquired 1890
