Meli-Shipak's Kudurru commemorating a gift of land to his son Marduk-apla-iddina Kassite period, reign of Meli-Shipak. (1186-1172 BC) Discovered in Susa where it had been taken as spoils of war in the 12th century. B.C. Limestone. The text reports the act of donation of land granted by the king to his son, the crown prince. The representation of the main divinities of the con in the form of symbols occupies an entire face of the stele. J. de Morgan excavations. Sb 22
