2 Cross reliquary from the Benedictine abbey church of St. Sabinus in Prenzlau around 1350 | Fire-gilt copper, silver solder, rock crystal, parchment, and textile fragments
The cross contains a small chamber, closed on the back with four hinges. Valuable relics were once stored here. Rock crystals are set into the ends of the cross arms. A strip of parchment on the back of the left arm reads 'of the 11,000 virgins'. The influential monastery from which this cross came held the patronage over the four churches in Prenzlau until 1543.

2 Reliquienkreuz aus der Benediktinerklosterkirche St. Sabinus in Prenzlau um 1350 | Kupfer, feuervergoldet, Silberlot, Bergkristall, Pergament und Textilreste
Das Kreuz birgt eine Kammer, die auf der Rückseite mit vier Scharnieren zu öffnen ist. Darin befanden sich kostbare Reliquien. Jeweils an den Balkenenden sind Bergkristalle eingelassen, unter dem linken hinten befindet sich ein Pergament mit der Inschrift „von den 11.000 Jungfrauen“. Bis zum Jahr 1543 besaß das einflussreiche Kloster, aus dem das Kreuz stammt, das Patronat über die vier Prenzlauer Kirchen.
