Panoramic view from the Beule Gate

Acropolis, Athens, Greece

The Beule Gate is a Hellenistic entrance on the Acropolis built from heavy limestone blocks and reused marble pieces, forming a narrow fortified passage. Its massive walls and preserved doorway stand prominently before the ascent to the Propylaea. The structure reflects Athens' defensive needs during the 3rd century BC and remains a significant architectural landmark on the site.
