A close-up photograph of a small, rectangular marble fragment. It is carved in relief and represents a section of the draped garments of a Kore statue. The marble, likely from the Chios Kore (Acropolis 675), is white and features traces of original paint. The decoration is vividly reconstructed or preserved, primarily using red and dark blue (or black) pigments. The red color was cinnabar and the blue was azurite.
