Copper processional cross

A large copper processional cross with arms of equal length that flare outwards towards their ends. Each of the four terminals is decorated with a small, raised circular ornament (boss). The lower arm is inserted into a purple-grey cylindrical mount, to be carried or raised on a staff during liturgical processions. The artifact is dated to the 6th century.
