A close-up photograph of a fragment of a limestone funerary stele (tombstone). 

The main feature is a cross inscribed within a raised circular frame or medallion. The cross arms expand slightly towards the edges of the medallion.

Fragmentary Greek inscription is visible carved into the surface of the stone both above and below the central medallion, much of it worn away.
