This image is a close-up photograph of a section of a limestone funerary stele (tombstone). 

The main feature is a cross with four arms of nearly equal length, enclosed within a raised, textured wreath (or garland).

An object, possibly an archaic or stylized letter, is carved in relief just above the right arm of the cross, inside the wreath.

A small, square-cut hole or recess is visible at the very top center of the stone fragment.
