Marble closure slab with relief door

marble fragment of a closure slab (pluteus). It has a deep relief carving of a double door framed by two vertical posts and a horizontal lintel. The surface of the door is divided into panels by raised bands. A prominent, stylized cross is carved in the center, overlapping the door panels. A relief cross decoration, originating from the pulpit of the Parthenon when it was converted into a Christian church, and is dated to the 5th-6th century.
