This large round wine vessel shows the typical decoration style of Late Geometric Athens. The surface is covered with painted bands of geometric shapes including swastika, zigzags, dots, triangles, and checkerboard patterns.
The center band features an architectural scene with what looks like a building structure with rectangular divisions. These geometric designs were common decorative elements in Greek pottery from this time period.
