About Us

We believe that history was not a written by superstitious fools but by intelligent, well-intentioned people who knew far more about the events they witnessed than we do today. While there were a few errors, a few examples of bias and boasting, the vast majority of what historians dismiss as fabrications, propaganda, or "literary" stories are in fact serious histories which, when believed, fit together to tell the story of history better than anything modern historians have done.

We are here to strip away the layers of religious tradition and modern scholarly dogma to write a history that objectively follows the evidence of ancient accounts without religious bias or the burden of traditional historians' dogmas.

So where tradition says one thing and the evidence says another, we follow the evidence – whether that tradition is religious or secular in nature, we follow the evidence. We believe the truth of these ancient records is sturdy enough to hold up under honest scrutiny – and that when examined without prejudice, it is far more compelling than the contradictory and implausible accounts that are told in religious and secular circles alike.

Our approach is simple: read the sources carefully, compare them honestly, and report what they say. More often than not, that's all it takes for them to fit with other reports from other cultures and times without dismissing anything as legendary or fictional.

We are grateful you have found your way here. Whatever brought you – curiosity, doubt, or a long-held conviction that there is more to these ancient texts than the world has admitted – we hope this work is useful to you.
