Chiro on a metal pendant. The first Sarmatian immigrants (1st century A.D.), the Jazygi, originated from the region of the Black Sea and brought with themselves their characteristic golden jewellery: thin gold plates sewn on the dress, beads, pendants, earrings, bracelets and rings. The golden beads were complemented with beads made of carnelian gemstones.
