Cross on top of tree. 19 Weight box. Antinoe, Byzantine period. Boxwood and copper. The housings were used to store scales and weights. This magnificent copy bears dedications to Saint Michael, Saint Theodore, ?to the grace of God?. A cross in a chapel is carved on the lid. An eagle, presented in a medallion by two angels, adorns the short side. Sharing of excavations (A. Gayet excavations); AF 900, AF 5159
